Christine A. Lokuju is a highly skilled Senior Medical Assembler and Backup Line Lead at Edwards Lifesciences, with a career spanning over a decade in technical manufacturing and person-centered care. Currently specializing in the assembly of critical surgical medical devices, she operates within high-stakes, sterile cleanroom environments that demand rigorous diligence and an unwavering commitment to quality.

As a Backup Line Lead, Christine has become an essential asset to her team, managing shift handovers and ensuring all assembly instructions and PPE protocols are followed with precision. She is deeply enthusiastic about mentorship and currently oversees the onboarding and training of new employees, bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and practical application.

Her leadership is further strengthened by an initiative-taking approach to professional development. In 2024, Christine completed advanced training in IT and Amazon Web Services (AWS), a certification that has allowed her to modernize workflow on the assembly line by assisting fellow team members with digital documentation and system navigation. This unique blend of manual expertise and technical literacy allows her to optimize both production speed and accuracy.

Christine’s diverse background includes technical roles at Moog Medical Device Group, where she managed PCB assembly, soldering, and software programming for international markets, as well as positions at Black Diamond and Ultra dent. Beyond the cleanroom, her early experience as a trainer and caregiver in senior care programs, along with years in high-pressure service environments at HMSHost, has shaped her into a leader who remains calm under pressure and excels at communicating with people from all backgrounds.

Christine holds a High School Diploma (2010) and is proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems. Driven by a mission to improve operational efficiency and safety, she is currently seeking to transition into a Lead Trainer role. She is eager to leverage her five years of deep experience at Edwards Lifesciences to empower and inspire the next generation of medical assemblers.
