Water Is Life

Dear Friends,
In Kakuma-Kalobeyei refugee settlement Kenya, families are drinking water that is making them sick — not from lack of effort, but lack of access. Worldwide, 1 in 4 people lack safe drinking water. UNICEF estimates that nearly 500 children under five decease every day across Africa from illnesses tied to poor water and sanitation.
We can change that for 200 families, starting by the end of this year. You can make a difference in the lives of Kakuma- Kalobeyei refugees who desperately need your support right now.
Ilalle Hill Organization is raising $5,000 by October 31st for gravity-fed, 01-micron carbon water filters — enough to serve 200 households and their neighbors on a continuous basis. They will be supplied by MightyWater.com.
This isn't one-time aid. Each filter provides years of continuous, dependable clean water — the difference between providing water today versus empowering people to protect their family's health for good.
We're asking you and your friends to join us. A singular $2000 gift would save 100 families.
But we need more than just money — we need your voice. Please post and share this plea with your congregation, association members, and friends, helping us reach beyond these 200 families and eventually onward toward the 10,000+ refugee camps worldwide who face this exact crisis.
